Reza’s own records move between the concert hall and the dance floor: piano and cello against analogue synths, sound design against song. Since spring 2026 he has released a new single roughly every month, working toward a forthcoming album.
Most arrive with a video co-directed by Reza. Stardusted Girl is the newest; the run began in April with I Feel U.
On its surface a hot love song. Underneath, Reza calls it possibly the deepest song on his forthcoming album: a message from his own subconscious about the people we recognise the moment we meet them, as if we had known them before.
Described in its release notes as “a dancefloor diagnosis of a civilization that has traded the ethereal for the algorithmic.” Brooding eighties synth grandeur and cold-wave pulse, heard through a modern electronic lens.
A two-track release. Its video, shot on a hillside overlooking Los Angeles as dusk turns to night, cuts between close portraits and a silhouetted figure against pale flame and smoke.
A song about cancel culture. Reza uses vapour as a metaphor for skipping the liquid state altogether: relationships kept superficial for fear of offending, when the old advice was to be like water.
Written on the first day of the war: about watching from a distance while people in Iran live through it, and the feeling of being far from something you are connected to.
A song about communication in the digital age. It began, as most of Reza’s songs do, with chords and a melody at the piano; a single line about feeling someone’s energy through a screen turned the phrase into the song.
Two records released four months apart, conceived as a pair. Yin leans toward stillness and acoustic instruments, Yang toward pulse and electronics, and each carries a trace of the other. Both were first performed live at sunset on the Robot Heart bus at the Renegade Burn.
The receptive half. A post-classical record of piano and cello, with modern electronic textures glimpsed at the edges. Most titles are Sanskrit, from Within and Kali to Santosha and Without.
The active half. An electronic odyssey through electronica, melodic house and techno that carries Yin’s themes forward with live piano and cellos. It includes Funkbible, Reza’s tribute to Prince.

The German duo Super Flu rework Funkbible, Yang’s astral synth-funk tribute to Prince, as the first release on Reza’s Music and Texture imprint.
